Properties of Fluoride

The Characteristic of Fluoride

Fluorine is a highly reactive element, being called as “the Stubborn Child of Chemistry”. But if Fluorine is combined with other elements, highly safe compounds will be formed, which have properties of heat-resistance, corrosive-resistance and solvent-resistance. Furthermore, as long as some or all hydrogen atoms of Fluoropolymer are replaced by Fluorine atoms, this fluoropolymer will obtain incomparably more advantages than many other polymers, such as climate-resistance, friction-resistance, corrosion-resistance, dielectric, adhesive-resistance, water-and-oil repellent etc. Fluoropolymer is widely used in many fields, such as aviation, mechanicals, petroleum and chemicals, electronic, buildings and textiles etc.
